While I initially had my doubts as it was a relatively unknown company beyond Australia, I knew I made a good choice when Ryan (my mentor) convinced me that I will never need 30 hours of tuition (offered by many other companies) as he could cover all the basic techniques of the ISAT by 15 hours without having me pay extra. It was then that I realised that Medict was a company full of mentors who focused on their students excelling rather than their net profits gained. Furthermore, as I had purchased a larger package with them (20 hours), I got to experience the teaching styles of multiple mentors (Ryan, Nicholas and Riku) all of whom were fantastic mentors. A reason for this was because they are medical students and so they are able to better empathise with their students (including me) about the trials and tribulations that we have to go through when taking this daunting exam. Their youth also made it easier for me to communicate with them, something which proved vital when learning ISAT techniques as they could often relate it back to something Gen Z related. Furthermore, Ryan and his team of mentors treated me with the utmost of respect and will go above and beyond to ensure that by the end of each lesson, all of my doubts and queries have been clarified. Their competitive pricing also comes with a whole host of secondary benefits including ongoing communication with mentors in order to ensure that my questions can be answered ASAP even if we do not have any lessons.
